2011 Community Project

This summer DAF was able to deliver 90 soccer balls to over 30 schools in Kenya. The balls were a donation from coach Dan Bryden. Before the donation, the students used homemade balls made from string, tree bark, and recycled plastic bags. Many schools have one or two make-shift balls and girls are often left out of soccer games in favor of the boy's teams. The donated balls are very much appreciated by all students who will use them not only during recess but also for school intermural activities.
